I've got Fred Flintstone feet. Big, huge, fat flappers that manage to bust almost all the shoes that I have. It's a pain to shop for my perfect fitting shoes because of this defect. However, it's a problem no longer! I've discovered Quality Shoe Service on Santa Monica Blvd!
I throw all my problem shoes into a bag and walk down the street to Santa Monica Blvd. There's usually only a short line to drop my shoes off. the guy takes my shoes, tells me it'll take a couple of days to stretch it out (i have to tell him to stretch it out really, really good because of my Freddie feet). I get it back and it fits like a glove!!
I've had repairs done to my shoes as well. My boots, he had magically transformed into an almost new pair of shoes!! The victims of my freddie feet shoes (green loafers) busted at the seams - he repaired and stretched those puppies out so they're my new favorite pair of shoes!!
